Nitro league, a decentralized racing metaverse, has released its updated roadmap. Several important milestones have already been met with others being scheduled as the team behind the first racing metaverse continues to make progress with its project.

The most recent development is the launch of the Nitro garage, a 2D simulation for the racing aspect of the metaverse. The other development is the exclusive land sale.

The Nitro League Garage is currently available for players and it allows them to use the gateway into the Nitro League metaverse.

Players can also customize the garage itself using themed NFTs thus allowing users to create a customized unique space that reflects their style.

The garage lays the ground for making Nitro League a social hub allowing players to hang out and showcase their creations as they earn rewards. The garage ties together a user’s experience in the Nitro League.

The reward mechanism opens new earning opportunities for participants. Nitro League has gone beyond the norm of players just earning rewards for playing.

Land and building sales

The land is distributed among 6 artificially made floating Islands that hover in the sky and cities thrive on these islands. These cities are home to all guilds, races, and tournaments. Players who want to showcase the agility, speed, and design of their customized cars meet in these cities during tournaments and races.

To create a hyper-realistic economy in Nitro League, players can now buy parcels of land and construct commercial and residential buildings, and then rent them out to generate more income. Players/participants can also personalize their land by prefabbing or modularizing buildings and structures. Participants can also choose to organize social events (hangout places), sell digital or real-world assets through their land and run advertisements from sponsors.

Owning certain plots of land also unlocks certain NFTs.

However, owning land in the Nitro League is not a requirement to participate in the races and tournaments. It is just an added opportunity for those who want to add to their experience.
